LAND is a research-based project that explores a mythological America through photo documentation, graphic art and country music. It centers on travels through Texas, the second-largest state in USA. The goal is to meditate over the special status of the US, as simultaneous a dreamland and a place of profound wonder.

Texas is a place of contrast where the mass-produced objects of industrial America often meets a primordial and panoramic landscape that instigates a certain state of mind – the magnitude of the modern world is mirrored in the vast countryside.

The project is a collaboration with textile designer Siri Vilbøl and musician Christen Brunsgård and will be published by Plethora Magazine.
